Where We Clean Pools: Dripping Springs to Austin
Clean Pool Squad runs weekly routes across the western and southern half of metro Austin from our shop in Dripping Springs: down 290 and RR 12 into Hays County, up Hamilton Pool Road and RM 620 to the Lake Travis communities, and along Bee Caves Road, MoPac, and Southwest Parkway through West and South Austin to the I-35 line. Every area below has its own page with the water source, ZIP codes, neighborhoods, and the pool problems we see there.

Why the Route Matters for Your Chemistry
The fill water changes by the street. Austin Water and the Lake Travis utilities (West Travis County PUA, Lakeway MUD, Travis County WCID 17) deliver moderately hard Colorado River water, about 70 to 130 ppm total hardness. Buda's blend of Edwards Aquifer wells and Canyon Lake water tests around 17 grains per gallon. Trinity Aquifer wells in Driftwood, Wimberley, Bear Creek, and the Dripping Springs acreage run harder still, often with iron or manganese, and rainwater tanks swing the other way with almost no calcium at all.
Whatever the source, Central Texas evaporation pulls well over 50 inches a year off a pool and leaves every mineral behind, so calcium climbs into the 300 to 500 ppm range on pools that have never been partially drained. That's why the same technician tests your fill water on the first visit, runs the full panel every week, and builds the program for your pool rather than for the route.
