Pool Chemical Balancing & Water Testing
Balanced water is invisible — you only notice it when it's wrong. Cloudy water, stinging eyes, scaling tile, and corroding heaters all trace back to chemistry that drifted out of range. We keep yours dialed in so the only thing you notice is clear, comfortable water.
We run a full panel on every visit and dose precisely for local conditions — not a one-scoop-fits-all routine. The result is water that's gentle on swimmers and easy on your equipment's lifespan.
What We Test & Balance
- Free & total chlorine
- pH & total alkalinity
- Calcium hardness (Hill Country priority)
- Cyanuric acid / stabilizer
- Saturation index for scale prevention
- Salt levels on salt systems
- Phosphates when algae is a recurring issue
- Clear, plain-English readings every visit
Why Hard Water Changes the Math
Hill Country water comes out of limestone, loaded with calcium. Left unmanaged, high calcium hardness drives scale onto your tile line, clouds the water, and shortens the life of heaters and salt cells. Balancing a pool here isn't the same as balancing one in softer water — you have to actively manage the saturation index, not just chlorine and pH.
We track calcium hardness and the saturation index on every visit, then adjust treatment to keep your finish and equipment protected. It's the difference between a pool that lasts and one that needs resurfacing years early.
Balanced Water Protects Your Wallet
Properly balanced water isn't just about comfort — it's preventative maintenance. Aggressive (corrosive) water eats heaters, pump seals, and metal fittings. Scaling water clogs them. Keeping chemistry in range is one of the cheapest ways to avoid an expensive equipment repair down the road.
